Movies/FramePouch, 사진은Pictures/FramePouch, 소리와 자막 파일은 이용자가 고른 위치.
2.1 Google AdMob —
- 구글 광고 및 개인정보 보호: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- 구글 개인정보처리방침: policies.google.com/privacy
2.2 Google Play
2.3 Google Play —
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | 광고 ID 접근 (AdMob) |
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION,ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS | 안드로이드 광고 서비스(Privacy Sandbox) — AdMob 이 요구 |
com.android.vending.BILLING | 광고 제거 구매 (Google Play 결제) |
FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROCESSING,FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC | 앱을 내려도 압축·자막 만들기 같은 작업을 이어서 처리 (안드로이드 15 이상은 미디어 처리, 그 아래는 데이터 동기화 종류) |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS, POST_PROMOTED_NOTIFICATIONS | 작업 진행률과 끝났다는 알림, 안드로이드 16 상태 표시줄의 진행 표시 |
kr.co.shaile.framepouch.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION | 앱 안에서만 쓰는 내부 권한 — 안드로이드 라이브러리(AndroidX)가 자동으로 선언하며, 다른 앱은 쓸 수 없습니다 |

FramePouch (“the app”; 한칸필름 in Korean) compresses videos, saves just the audio from a video, turns speech into subtitles, and upscales photos 2× — all on your phone. This document states plainly what information the app handles.
1. Information the developer receives — none
Your videos, photos, audio, subtitles and job details are never sent to the developer, and the developer receives and keeps no personal information. The Google ad SDK, Play Billing and Play update feature inside the app do handle the information described in section 2.
- There is no sign-up and no account
- The app runs no server of its own
- It never asks for your name, email, phone number, address, contacts or location
1.1 Videos, photos and audio
- The app reads only the files you pick with the Android file picker or share to FramePouch from another app. To let you redo or resume a job, it keeps the picked file’s location and read access in the job record.
- Compression, audio extraction, subtitle creation (speech recognition) and photo upscaling all happen on your phone; your files, audio and subtitles are never uploaded anywhere. The AI models for speech recognition and upscaling are built into the app, and processing does not use the internet. If you choose “Phone’s speech recognition” in settings, Android’s on-device speech recognition is used.
- Results are saved as new files — videos in
Movies/FramePouch, photos inPictures/FramePouch, audio and subtitle files wherever you choose. Originals are never changed or deleted. - When you send a result with the Share button, it goes to the app you choose.
1.2 What stays on your phone
- Job records — original file names and locations, the settings you chose, results (file size, length, dimensions), the subtitles made and your edits, reasons for failures
- Results not yet saved — kept inside the app until you save or clear them
- App settings — display language, subtitle engine, language and style, processing speed measured on this phone (for time estimates), whether you bought ad removal, how many jobs you have finished and when a full-screen ad was last shown (for ad frequency limits)
- A temporary audio file used while making subtitles — deleted when the job ends
This information stays on your phone and never leaves it. It is not included in Google Drive backups or in transfers to a new phone. You can remove it with the ⋯ button → “Delete” in the History tab or “Result files in the app” → “Clear” in settings, and it is removed when you uninstall the app. Files saved to your gallery or to a location you chose remain until you delete them yourself.
2. Information collected by third-party services
The app uses the Google services below. Google may collect information in the process, and handles it under Google’s own policies.
2.1 Google AdMob — ads
Used to show banner ads at the bottom of the results screen and the History tab, and an occasional full-screen ad when you tap “Done” on a result (never on your first job, and at most once every three minutes). No full-screen ad appears while you pick files, while jobs are processing or while you edit subtitles. Your videos, photos, audio, file names and subtitle text are never included in ad requests.
Google may collect:
- Advertising ID (AAID) — a resettable advertising identifier on your device
- App set ID — an identifier shared by one developer’s apps on a device. It may still be used after you delete or reset your advertising ID
- IP address and the approximate location estimated from it, device information (model, OS version), network information
- Interactions with the app and ads, such as app launches, taps, ad impressions and clicks
- Diagnostic information — app and SDK performance such as launch time, hang rate and energy use
Google collects and shares this information for ad delivery and measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention and security. Once you buy ad removal, the app no longer requests ads.
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any ad is requested.
2.2 Google Play Billing — ad removal
The app sells one product, “ad removal” (one-time, permanent). Every feature works the same before and after buying. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; the app never receives, stores or sees your card number or other payment details.
The only thing the app stores is whether you bought ad removal, and that too is kept only on your phone. After reinstalling or moving to a new phone, the app asks Google Play for your account’s purchases when it starts and when you tap “Restore” in settings.
2.3 Google Play — in-app updates
Used to check whether a new version is available on the store and to offer the update. To do so, Google Play processes device metadata, the app version and the list of installed modules to decide whether an update exists and how large it is. This is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and is not passed to the developer.
3. Permissions the app requests
Every permission the release build actually declares.
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Ad requests, purchase checks, update checks (never used for processing files) |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | Access to the advertising ID (AdMob) |
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION,ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS | Android Ad Services (Privacy Sandbox) — required by AdMob |
com.android.vending.BILLING | Buying ad removal (Google Play Billing) |
FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROCESSING,FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC | Keep compressing or making subtitles after you leave the app (media processing on Android 15 and later, data sync before that) |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS, POST_PROMOTED_NOTIFICATIONS | Progress and “finished” notifications, and the progress chip in the Android 16 status bar |
WAKE_LOCK | Background work of the ad SDK and updates |
kr.co.shaile.framepouch.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION | An internal permission used only inside the app — declared automatically by an Android library (AndroidX); other apps cannot use it |
The app does not request photo, storage, camera, microphone, location or contacts permissions. Because it uses the file picker, it can access only the files you pick, and subtitles are made from the audio of the video you picked, not from the microphone.
4. Your choices
- Turn off ad personalisation / reset your advertising ID — on your device,
Settings → Google → Ads - Change your consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland) — “Ad privacy choices” in the app’s settings
- Remove ads — “Go ad-free” in the app’s settings (one-time purchase)
- Delete records and results — the ⋯ button → “Delete” in the History tab, “Result files in the app” → “Clear” in settings, or uninstall the app
Because the developer holds no personal information, there is no separate procedure for access, correction or deletion requests. For information held by Google, please follow Google’s policies and your account settings.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
6. Changes
When this policy changes, this document is updated along with its effective date. Significant changes are announced with an app update.
